About Me…

Previously based in the NYC Area for six years, I made the move in September 2023 to the San Francisco Bay Area, where I am originally from.

I grew up a fan of all sports, and spent most of my time either watching them or playing them. I spent my youth listening to the play-by-play commentary of the great Jon Miller for the San Francisco Giants, and wondering if that could be me one day.

Soccer became my first love and passion. Like many, at just seven years old, I was inspired by the 1999 US Women’s National Team winning the World Cup at the Rose Bowl in front of a sold out crowd. I was inspired not only by the soccer, but by the change they were able to affect through it.

I played soccer competitively - along with many other sports like basketball, softball, and more - and eventually went on to play soccer at the collegiate level. I attended University of Denver initially, and after two years, transferred to Pitzer College where I finished my college degree and collegiate soccer career.

After struggling in the post-athlete life, I fell out of the game. It wasn’t until a few years later in 2019 that I began to watch and play soccer with joy again, and quickly found myself imagining a life in the game… in a different way. I applied to become a Head Coach at the New York Red Bulls Academy in the winter of 2019, and was hired for the start of 2020.

Coinciding with this was the inception of my podcast, The Women’s Soccer Show. In 2020, women’s soccer was barely covered across any platform, let alone any mainstream platform. We set out to create a weekly show that could fill the void in coverage within the women’s game, covering any and all domestic leagues that we could watch. Beyond the NWSL and Barclays WSL, any other league was basically impossible to stream at the time.

It was the start of the podcast that brought me full circle, back to not only my love of soccer, but also my love of sports commentary. The energy that a great commentator can add to a game is part of what makes us feel something in those special moments.

With the experience I was getting from the podcast - both recorded and at live events - I was at a natural and better starting place to kick off play-by-play commentary. In New York City, I initially worked for Game In Frame, Northeast America’s top grassroots soccer live-streamer and player highlight producer. I got experience in live-stream play-by-play for any and all soccer games - from 8 year-old boys to USL, and everything in between.

Since then, I’ve relocated to the Bay Area where I sent my reel to Stanford University and Cal, and was hired as a regular commentator for all sports.

My goal is continue pursing play-by-play broadcasting, and commentate for fully professional leagues around the world, and on the largest international stages.
